10.22.2011

Exactly one year ago, I made the best decision of my life by agreeing to date David Eng.
Click here  if you want to read our story! Before the whole boyfriend-girlfriend, D &D thing, David and I had been friends for over a year. He was my best male friend that I always hung out with. We would confide in each other when we had "dating issues."We spent a lot of time together summer of 2011. Thanks to the series of adventures we shared during that summer as friends, our friendship slowly shifted into a more romantic one.  After a lot of ups and downs, on 10.22.2011 we finally started dating. It took awhile for the both of us to admit our true feelings because we did not want to risk our friendship. In the end, we both liked each other too much and decided to risk our friendship for something even better. During the eight months course of dating, we've fought, cried, broken up a few times. But in the end, we always found our way back to each other.  In May of 2012, we decided that we wanted even more and got engaged. After a short engagement, we were sealed in the Bountiful Temple as husband and wife on 8.4.2012 for time and all eternity. I know everyone in love says this cheesy line, but I truly feel as if we were made for each other. I love this guy very much and am I ever glad he'll be stuck with me for eternity! heehee =)

A Happy Day

David and Diana both received very good news today! David  received an acceptance letter from one of the Medical Schools he's been hoping to attend. (His third choice, actually!) And Diana was offered a job she's been hoping to get for months! They were both thrilled with the good news and decided to celebrate at Red Lobster even though they are an extremely poor married couple. They are both very full and very content. They both believe after they found each other, good things are happening. Do you agree with them as well?
P.S. David and Diana will soon update their friends and families when things are finalized!

David's wonderful parents.

My wonderful parents. My mom is so pretty. Only if I looked like her more... tsktsk.

Awww.. Mom and her baby. (David' is the youngest. Therefore, called the baby of the family!)

Love my mommy so much. Glad she flew out early to help me with the wedding and all.

Balloo and his baby daughter. I am the first in my family to get married.

Mom and Dad Eng. So blessed to have another addition set of great parents!

David looks exactly like dad.

Thank you, our dear parents for loving and supporting us. We wouldn't have been able to make it till here without their help. Heavenly Father truly gives us the parents we need. I have felt His love through my parents throughout my entire life. I'm thrilled to start a new family with David and will forever be grateful that I met David.

PiCtUrEs of D&D -Engagements

For my family and friends in Korea, I decided to post some engagement photos & wedding photos of David and Diana. These amazing photos were all done by our amazing photographer of  Firefly Portraiture, Hayley.

Today I will post engagement pictures. Looking at these pictures brings back memories. Oh those "pre-wedding days!" Boy, was it hectic. David was busy with Med School apps and I was busy planning our wedding. We also were doing long distance since David lived in Sandy for his job. On top of  that, I was looking for jobs in SLC and trying to find housing for us. We both were "planning for the future" that seemed so uncertain. We fought a lot, I cried a lot. I even threatened him that I wouldn't marry him a few times. Pre-wedding days were extremely stressful. However, looking back, they were so silly.

Is it just me or do girls just suddenly age after getting married? Doesn't help that David has those amazing Eng genes and looks at least five years younger than his actual age.

We have tons of wedding pics and those will eventually come. As of now, adios my friends and family!**
