Motherland Trip

It's been ten days since I've been back from Korea. Jet lag has been a nightmare. Age.. is finally kicking in. Ugh. Thus, it took me this long to write about my trip to the motherland.

David was originally going to join me but med school schedule was not nice. Being the awesome wife I am, I left David all alone for three whole weeks and flew to Korea. Both of us were worried as we've never been apart for that long even since our dating days. However, I strongly felt the need to visit my family.

It's been about five years since all six of us reunited. Much has changed. One has gotten married, two have served LDS missions, two came back to the church, and the baby of the family is now a college student!
Like any other family, we had numerous occasions when our stubborn hearts did not get along. However, as families all do, we mend and tend each other's broken hearts and get along as if nothing happened in mere seconds. The fact of being with my family helped strengthen my testimony of our Lord's Plan of Salvation. My family (immediate and family through marriage) gives me a reason to be worthy. I want to reunite with them after this life and be with them for time and all eternity. Thank you Lord for blessing us with such a miraculous plan.

A lot of reminiscing took place. Countless "remember when" storied were told. Laughter filled up the rooms. And such strong love was in the air. Bliss.

And for the food, do I even need to mention  ?

Good thing we live in Dallas. Two Korean towns! (Almost) Two H-Marts!! Jealous?
