Switching Gears

Two months ago on this very day, I stepped into a new job as a Preschool teacher. From that day on, I live and breathe at the Preschool. It was a big decision to return to the path of Early Childhood Education. My last year at BYU  convinced me I was inadequate to play an important role in the teaching field. Thus, I chose to switch gears and go into something else. And so I did. I was grateful to work at my previous company but honestly, something was missing. After my short trip from Korea, I prayed a lot. We needed for me to work so I felt pressured. However, I did not want to be stuck in a job just because of the income. More prayers were said. His answers quickly came. I immediately began looking for jobs that would for once put my degree to use.

It's been challenging. Though I have a B.S in Early Childhood Education, my experience in the teaching field is limited. And, the pay is .. well, we all know that teachers roll in the dough. (Btw, Early Childhood Education was named the major that gets paid the least). And, I am still recovering from my last year at BYU. I was discouraged from the major I chose.  However, I've never been happier. I am in love with my students. And, I'm quickly realizing I am learning more from them than they are from me. Happy two months kiddos!

Obviously, I cannot post pictures of my kiddos. But but here's what we've been up to for the past two months. We live a pretty exciting life. Or not.

A lot of studying..

Husband's White Coat Ceremony. So proud of my (future) MD.
Lots of silly notes
Eating healthy
Getting ready for Santa Claus.

Hope everyone is having a good month. Can you believe we have less than a month till 2014? Where did the year go?
