Canadian Rockies

Have you ever heard of Yuki Kuramoto? He's a Japanese pianist (one of my favorite following the Korean pianist, Yiruma). I was lucky enough to attend one of his concerts back in 2005 and fell in love with his music. Anyhow, one of Yuki Kuramoto's famous pieces is called Lake Louise. It's such a beautiful song. That song was of course inspired by none other than the Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. And guess what? David and I took a trip to the Canadian Rockies. We drove through the long swirly-twirly roads and enjoyed the breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies and the lakes.

Sadly, it was a gloomy day.

You know, just enjoying the delicious lunch  mom packed  by Lake Louise. No biggie. Happens every day..

Banff. Little money, too many stores, sad couple.
A vidoe of Yuki Kuramoto performing Lake Louise.  It's such a beautiful song!!

Sadly, our Calgary trip is coming to an end now. I'm grateful for the time we had to spend with family and friends. I personally needed this time with David before sending him off to medical school. And I'm planning to savor every second of this free time we have.
