For those who were wondering, David and I are finally in Texas. It took us three days to arrive safely in Dallas! For now, we are homeless and staying with Marshall and Audrey (David's sister) until we can move into our new apartment. For exactly a week, we've been homeless. It sucks. Really. I have access to very limited clothing, makeup, and other girly things because the hubby requested that I pack very lightly. Psh.
Although it sucks being homeless, we're quite good at it now after a week, and I'm so grateful for David's siblings. And glad that they are older and established so we can bum off them. Seriously. My siblings are younger, so if we had to stay with them, we would have encountered roommate issues, housing issues, and all that kind of college drama. David's siblings are older than us and they have an extra bedroom just for us! Plus, they have all these cute little kids. Oh my goodness they are cute. We have one more place in Houston left and we will have stayed with all four of David's siblings. Quite an accomplishment, right?
And no. If you're planning on visiting us in Dallas, you might have to reconsider. We don't have an extra bedroom but maybe the bathroom. And no munchkins running around. Good thing we're a few minutes away from these cuties.

So gross, right? Garden eels. At the Dallas Aquarium. I've never seen such a weird looking creature before. Nasty. I had to share. |
The weather, as expected is hot and humid. I thought living in Korea would've trained me well but NO!! Oh well. Stuck for the next four years so better suck it up!
