Boxes and Books

Have you heard the news? D and D are going away for a week to Calgary, Canada to visit hubby's parents. Guess when we come back? The 19th of July. Yup, a day before we move to Dallas. Meaning we have only a few days left to pack and clean. Yikes!

We both are notorious for being procrastinators. And, till this day, we live up to it. We wrestled over
twenty plus boxes from Walmart and started packing away for two days now. I don't see much of a difference. As many of the boxes were stacking up and some were just strewn over the place, we decided we should donate many of our belongings to D.I, thinking it would clear up some space. We took bags of clothes and books. Oh, we felt so accomplished! Accomplished enough that we decided we would treat ourselves to a few minutes of "break time" as we wandered around Deseret Industries.

See that pile of books? We got all of those for a whooping $10.00!! I even found A Thousand Splendid Suns (hardcover) by Khaled Housseini which I've been dying to read forever! Never found it at the Library and was too expensive to purchase. However, I picked it up for $3.00!! Squeal! Except, I don't know if we have anymore boxes left for those books. Oh, that's right. Our goal was actually to decrease the amount of our belongings for a lighter move. Oops.
